The messages in this book are uplifting and provocative. I love Beth Moore and he ability to make a connection with the reader. She is a very intelliget writer.

A beautiful companion for the "Get Out of That Pit" book - which I highly recommend. After the soul searching that will begin when you read that book, you now have a way to journal your entries.

I had borrowed a copy of the book last year, and returned it. Next, I bought the journal ....and a friend gave me a copy of the book so I am now twice armed for the battle of my soul...She teaches universal truths based on her own life experiences...so it makes for easy and powerfully reading.
Many of us dig our own "pit" and jump in and dwell there, occasionally venturing out...but returning when life shows up. There is an old saying...."If you find yourself in a pit, the first thing to do is to throw away the shovel!" This can be a life changing book.

I'm a huge Beth Moore fan anyway, but this really has touched me and given me encouragement. I love the devotionals....they are straight to the point and point you in the direction of God's word to heal.
