Not great Rating (3) Date: 2009-07-29 I didn't find this book particularly well written. I felt that it only really touched the surface of animal issues and was more about business and romance. And yes she was way too into her chamomile tea. I never did understand what the cover was about. What does a puggle or a pair of pink shoes have to do with the story at all? Heck she got upset when her ex had a pure bred dog, yet there's a designer breed on the cover? Anyway, not a terrible book but not great. I don't recommend it.

I had high hopes for this book but after reading some of the character names (Eddie Chevalier? Come on!!) I could tell that it was just a formulaic mess. The message behind it is fantastic and one that everyone should pay attention to. Too bad you have to read about the misadventures of a ding-a-ling who lives for Chamomile Tea in order to hear it!!

It will make you want to get more involved in helping all the homeless animals in the world. I commend this author on such great details!
